Wow, we put this purchase on hold for a long time but it was worth it!
Just in the last 2 years these have gone from clunky and accident prone to fine works of stylish art that do amazing things.
I know they are expensive, but this quality of 4k photography was not even possible several years ago. In fact, here’s a comparison of the latest $1000 dollar drone to a ‘cinematic quality model’ 10x in price
I purchased the Mavic Air which has a 4k camera but not the super pricey Hasselblad model (about $500 more).
It takes far better photos and videos than I will ever need and the combo pack had a cleaning kit, extra props, Micro SD card and a few other goodies.
To be honest, I was a bit nervous to make my first flight but it really is quite simple. Just start slow, bring it up about 4 feet, hover, then take it back down. Repeat and try a few other manouvers.
Before long I was flying around the house shooting video, out across the adjacent field. It really does create an awesome view of the world and video shots that are just unbelievable.
It folds into a very compact compartment for transporting. Just unbelievable technology and design.
Oh, and if you want to pursue further? Get your commercial drone license (not hard) and start doing Real Estate videos or business promotion. It could be your second income stream – or maybe your new business.
